Security |
Here at Cannockbeds, the security of your order is our foremost priority.
We have gone to great lengths to ensure our system keeps your payment details secure. If you have any questions, our IT department would be happy to answer them, to put your mind at rest.
When we ask for your card details, you will notice the `yellow padlock' icon in your browser, and the "https:" at the top of the browser window. This indicates that your computer and our computer have established a secure connection. Everything you send to us over
this secure connection will be encrypted, so that nobody other than yourself and us can see your details.
We use a secure payment provider to process your order. Once you have given us your card details, we immediately pass them on over another secure connection. We do not keep a record of your card details, so even if our server is `hacked' or even stolen, your card details will be safe.
The payment provider we use, SECPay is the UK's largest independently owned processor of secure, real-time, online credit and debit card transactions. They are assessed yearly for Payment Card Idustry (PCI) compliance by a Visa Qualified Security Assessor.
Email is insecure. It passes through a number of points between your computer and ours. At any point in this chain, it may be intercepted or stored for some time.
