Because of the strength of the Cannock Beds brand the company was bought in 2005 by Timberband Limited who were the original online bed specialists. Timberband had created an internet business selling beds and mattresses which they had sourced through an extensive network of designers and quality controllers working with top factories in the UK, and throughout the world.

There was a natural synergy between a business set up to source new and innovative product, and a business established as a quality on line retailer.
